Michael, from Co. Tipperary Ireland has been involved in the church business all his life. He is the 5th generation of his family’s involvement working with the church.

Michael mainly operated in the candle business, however always had a passion to work with the church whenever possible. From this he decided to merge the two industries to invent and develop what would become St. Killians Candle Company.

Michael has an entrepreneurial personality and always strives for creativity. With Michaels eye for new ideas and creations St. Killians is always growing and developing to be the best option for a candle burning system within the church.

Karen joined our team in 2010, just as St. Killians was beginning to grow across the island of Ireland. She joined the team in a receptionist role which quite quickly developed as she showed her capabilities in getting things organised.

Today, as director of Operations, Karen takes care of all operations across the group. Karen has helped grow St. Killians in an organised, efficient manner to be able to operate and supply over 30 countries worldwide.

Using her background in accountancy and customer relations, there is nothing to big of a request for Karen to get done on both a national and international level

Danielle joined St. Killians in 2018, beginning her journey with the company in a front-of-office role that quickly evolved to include secretarial and accounting responsibilities. As her experience grew, Danielle moved into a more permanent position within Operations, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the day-to-day workings of the business.

After several years working in our Irish office, Danielle relocated to the United States, where she now oversees operations and leads the continued growth of St. Killians America.

With hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business, Danielle plays a key role in coordinating operations between Ireland and the U.S., supporting distributors, and strengthening relationships with our American partners. Her practical approach and in-depth knowledge ensure efficient workflows and consistent service across the U.S. market.

Linda joined Murphy Candles Ltd in 2002 and has been with the St. Killian Candle Company since its inception to the market. During her 10 years with Murphy Candles Linda gained experience in many areas of the company from design and development of products to organising the manufacture and getting them to market.

The St. Killian Candle burning system was an idea, a thought, would this work. It took many years to develop to a product and Linda was one of the lucky members to be a part of its growth to where it is today. Linda always preferred Sales and so in 2012 she took the role of sales and development in Ireland. She grew the business from 88 Candles stands to where it is today one of the largest consumptions of St. Killians candles in the world.

In 2015 along with her Colleague Lauren Murphy she opened Scotland to the St. Killian Candle burning system, this venture opened new potential and new questions and new challenges which meant a different route to market. Developing that business over the years has brought ideas which are now implemented to our route to market all over the world.

Linda is now responsible for the Irish and UK markets, but is always available to help, assist and advise in any area that her expertise is required.
